FAQ
Is cakeapp.com free of charge?
Yes, it is. It's a private project of Simon Brüchner. Maybe later some additional features will cost something.
What can I do here?
Maybe your answer can be answered in the Screencast?
How can I provide feedback

What can I expect in the near future from CakeApp.com?
Currently CakeApp.com is in a BETA state. Soon we will add some "social" features like voting comments for cool SQL schemes. We will try to fix some IE errors and change the process of creating a new application.
I can download the app-folder but how do I get the generated SQL without re-typing everything?
The link to the SQL file will appear on the frontpage (cakeapp.com) near the name of your application. "Download SQL".
Can I make a schema private? I would use CakeApp to speed up some of my development, but my client won't let me make their schema public.
I'm thinking about to add this feature by many public requests (Requests to improve cakeapp). Add your comment to this request if you think it is useful.
Would you consider open-sourcing this app? With a bit of work and some user interface updates, it could be really useful and popular. Then you could build your commercial features off of that.
Yes, but I need help to publish it as open source. The code is very tricky (not spagetthi), the SQL validation for example is done by a real database and I catch the errors and display them. This means there is are a lot of different databases necessary and other things like executing shell commandos.
